Today I did a Twiddleybitz demo in a cute little store in Narellan (Smeaton Grange) in NSW... there were 10 ladies in all and we had a great time.. I showed them lots of ways to colour and use the gorgeous intricate Twiddleybitz pieces and I also put together a Twiddleybitz mini album in under an hour for one lucky winner - Doreen.
I also got to try first hand the new Creative Colour Spray from Twiddleybitz, I used the "gold" one and I have to say it is absolutely wonderful...it is a glimmer spray mist and the colour is so vidid... I am going to have all of the colours in my stash as soon as they arrive!!!
The ladies loved the products and we will be looking at doing a couple of in-store classes in the future on the Princess carriage, Advent house and maybe a mini album too!
I would like to thank the owner April for a lovely day and for making me feel so welcome!
Here are some pics of the album and Doreen with her prize!
We have started a Rasberry DT blog, I am so excited to be a part of this...it is in it's infancy but we have great plans for this blog...please go and check it out here. We will be hosting some challenges with great prizes from Rasberry as well as the opportunity to win a place as a guest designer!
On Wednesday I am off to do a demo at a store in Sydney (Scrapbook Sensations) on the Twiddleybitz range of products, I am very excited about this as I also get to try Twiddleybitz new "creative colour spray" on the products too! There will be lots of technique info on colouring your Twiddleybitz pieces as well as some give-aways. The first 10 people to come into the store and let me know they saw this post on my blog will get a special gift from me so I hope to see you there!
Here is another layout I did yesterday using one of the wonderful kits from Urban Anthology... I added the red text at the bottom using a Provo craft alpha stamp I picked up in a store in SLC, love it!
While I was visiting CHA I also managed to catch up with Kari, the owner of Urban Anthology, in fact we had dinner with her and her husband in their new (gorgeous) house! I also picked up three of my UA kits, two of which I purchased and one for while I was given by Kari to do some "guest design" work with... I haven't been home long but managed to put this layout together from the January Kit ... If you are interested in ordering any of these kits and you live in Australia, Kari is great with the shipping and only charges you actual cost... I still have much work to do so watch this space !
I am finally home after an exhausting but wonderful trip...I got to catch up with old friends and meet so many new ones.. my friends list on facebook has gone from 30something to over 100 LOL.... anyway while I was away I got to meet the wonderful group of ladies from Urban Anthology, we went out to dinner and had an absolute blast.. thanks ladies for a wonderful evening!
that I managed to get done last night one with the gorgeous Twiddleybitz "twiddley tree" I have used Crate paper and embellishments from Heidi Grace and Fancy Pants, the pink bling in the centre of the tree looks red in the photo for some reason but it is actually the same pink colour as the rest of the embellishments...the second one is using the gorgeous papers from Crate Paper again (Lemon Grass)... heading off on a road trip tomorrow for a few days so I may or may not be blogging... :-)
