Yesterday I took a trip out to Memories That Last scrapbook store in Liverpool to meet up with the owner AnnMarie who I met recently at SIA, the shop is just beautiful and her classroom is WOW!!! I have now joined the team as a designer and teacher. I will be doing a Twiddleybitz demo there on Thursday June 18th which kicks off at 10.30 am, I will be showing you how to use Twiddleybitz products and I will have some little giveaways too so I hope to see you there! I will also be teaching some classes, which will include Twiddleybitz products as well as other projects including a "book of days" (which you can use all you left over bits and pieces for) as well as a beautiful wall hanging so stay tuned for the class schedule which I will post on the sidebar of my blog. What am I working on right now!! I have been very busy on stuff that I can't post because it is being published, so I am going to try and do a few layouts this weekend to put on my blog! I have a gorgeous Twiddleybitz frame and nearly all the Websters Pages papers which I want to work with, the new range from Websters is on it's way to me as we type and I can't WAIT to get them!!
I also received a huge box of goodies from Rasberry this week and I am working on a little handbag album using their new "milan" papers... I am hoping to finish this later today and then I will post some pics !! there are a few ranges with the new papers including the "starburst" range and the new 8x8 vintage ranges.
I have been really busy but feel that my blog has been a bit neglected...at the moment I am working on projects that I can't upload because they are either for magazines or classes... however, when my friend Linda gave me this picture I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it...this is a photo of 10 children, 5 boys and 5 girls which could so easily be my grandmothers family... I have given this a vintage feel using old book pages as a background, the cut out vines are from Websters Pages and the shadow box and flourishes are from Twiddleybitz !
These were one of the new Twiddleybitz releases at SIA recently.. they come in two depth sizes of 4cm and 2cm as well as the cute flourishes on the sides and in the centre of the ATC... here is one that I have done with a matching ATC....They are so cute and perfect for a small photo that you might want to frame also...
