So I was sitting around looking at all my scrappy leftovers and thinking what on earth am I going to do with all this!!! Then the light bulb came on and I had a great idea... why not make cards to donate to Nursing Home residents...the elderly who can't get out to buy their own cards and even more so cannot afford them...I am sure they still like to give that special card to their families and friends on special occassions... I hope you can join in to donate some cards and use your scraps...I am asking you to create 10 or more cards for donating, they don't need to be elaborate, just sweet and simple...christmas cards would be especially good at this time of year but you can use any sentiments... if you are interested please drop me a line at email@example.com and let me know. I would like all cards to me by the 10th of October (that gives you a whole month)... Here is a pic of the 10 cards I created this morning!
I am very happy today to see my very first Magazine "article" in the latest Scrapbook Creations (Issue 70 which came out today) ... I was asked to do an article and 3 projects on "Acrylic Products" ... so make sure you check it out and I hope you enjoy it! There is also a Twiddleybitz step by step advert using one of their Advent Houses, this was another project that I did, I scored twice in the same mag!!! Today I was at Memories that Last in Liverpool working on a special project (more info later) with Anne-Marie (MTL Owner) and the lovely Rachel Greig, we had a great fun morning with lots of laughs and "bloopers" LOL!!! Here are a couple of pics of Anne Marie and Rachel !
Yay I finally managed to catch up with Wendy and Josh at my place last week and was able to give Josh his ABC book which many of you so kindly contributed too... Wendy had tears in her eyes and was very grateful and appreciative of all the hard work that went into making the book for Josh... I got lots of cuddles and he even gave my hand a "squeeze" which is a big thing considering what he has been through and how far he has come... I was so touched... it was lovely also to see my little boy Riley who is the same age give Josh a big hug... so here is it.. Josh's gorgeous ABC book, thanks to EVERYONE who was a part of this wonderful project! Underneath is a digi I did of Riley giving Josh a big hug!
