Last weekend I was lucky enough to be asked to teach at the Angels R Scrappin retreat at Lake Keepit (near Tamworth)...I had an absolute blast and what great bunch of ladies... thanks to the ladies who came along and did my classes using the fantastic Twiddleybitz products, there were lots of laughs !!! On Saturday night the ladies all got dressed up in their "masquerade masks" and I was asked to judge 3 winners, it was SO hard, they were all fantastic but here is a photo of the three ladies who did win... Yellow was 2nd runner up, Orange (my new black at the moment) was 1st runner up and the Gold was number 1... great effort ladies everyone put a lot of work and thought into their masks!
I have also posted 2 quick layouts I did in between classes, I am LOVING these papers from October Afternoon and Sassafras Lass, hope you like them too!
woohoo a box full of Rasberry goodies is on it's way to me and our other DT girls! I can't wait to start playing... Sheena (owner) has some gorgeous new products for the Rasberry Christmas range so look out for some projects coming soon.
In support of the charity drive to collect donation funds for the victims of Ketsana typhoon that hit some parts in Philippine, 1 World Scrap (Spain) will be hosting an online class and sale proceeds will be donated to another charity fund created by Iris Babao Uy. Iris is presently offering online classes in an effort to help the victims. Please go here to get more information on how you can support this drive.
In the meantime, do keep a look out on the updates from 1 World Scrap charity classes (if any of you out there are interested).

October is a Breast cancer awareness month. Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer among women in Brunei. The exact cause of breast cancer is not fully understood, although there are several factors that make the condition more likely to occur, such as age and family history.
Please click here to continue reading an article about this awareness effort in Brunei.
To this extent, 1 World Scrap has another challenge blog to raise the breast cancer awarenessto all women out there. Scrappink 1 Project 2009 is hosting online challenges related to womenkind. You get the drift. Have a look at their blog :)
Oh just to share with you readers especially the Spaniard scrappers, 1WS has also created a special 1 World Scrap Ning site for its readers to share their creations and layouts. Plus more tips & tutorials on crafting done by the Design Team members being shown on the site. Feel free to drop by and I do hope that it can help you to learn Spanish language at the same time. There will be no various language options though but you can always use Google Translator to help you with the spanish dictions!
