his month I was asked to be a Guest DT on the Let's get Shabby site on behalf of Sissey kits...
The challenge was not an easy one but the dt girls have done a great job!!!
Here is my layout... yes that is a large cross-stitch doily I have used on the background, you can check the rest out HERE!
Today is April 19, my mum would have been 76 years old, she died when she was 42, I was just 12 and I still miss her everyday... Happy Birthday Mum xxx
The past couple of weeks have been CRAZY!!! Firstly I got to meet up with my wonderful creative friends from Graphic 45 - Aimee and Diane, they were in Sydney for a couple of days before heading up to Brisbane for Creative Block at Print Blocks. So where else would I take them but to the JUNKYARD and they LOVED it, I have a feeling they will definitely be back for another visit! Here are a couple of pics!
Next on the agenda was the Creative Block event at Print Blocks in Brisbane which Jane Clark & I attended... we had SO much fun... the ladies from G45 were there, along with Fancy Pants Designs (Kathi), Maya Road (Caroline & Sarah), We R Memory Keepers (the very funny Andrew and Jen), Co-ordinations (Mindy Ayers) along with lots more including our own Ngiare and Jilly. The classes were fabulous and the kits were very generous!
I also got to meet LOTS of ladies I know through work or other Scrapbooking avenues and catch up with those I haven't seen in a while too!
This is Jane & I at the 'cocktail' party!
With the lovely Deb Lawrence.
With Miss Bubbly - Alex Huges
The gorgeous Kathi from Fancy Pants Designs!
Andrew and Jen from We R Memory Keepers - look how TALL they are!
And here are a few layouts I have done recently ...
Got lots to do this week...I received a whole box of Prima goodies to play with today for SIA and I am in the process of getting all the samples together for my hybrid class too! Very exciting stuff coming up :-)
As most of you know I am teaching a hybrid class as this year's SIA... these classes will be on both days in the mornings... after my hybrid class I will be working in the PRIMA booth assisting Adam and Michael with the make & takes... CAN YOU TELL HOW EXCITED I AM... I keep pinching myself...
Anyways here is a sneak peek of what we will be making... they are just GORGEOUS!!!
so if you are attending SIA please make sure you come along and say Hi to us!
To find my name on the SIA blog list for 2010 along with so MANY talented people who I admire and have been inspired by, including:

SIA2010 ... I am very excited to have my hybrid/digi class sponsored by Pickleberrypop (designed by the very clever Lindsay Jane) and will also have some surprise extras for you all :-) ... It will be lovely to catch up with friends I know especially the Twiddleybitz gang and to meet some new people!
