My first Tattered Angels blog post yay!!!

I cannot tell you how much I am loving being a part of this team, the rest of the girls are so supportive and inspiring not to mention the gorgeous Rachel who looks after us all! This month we had to create three projects using wood! My first project you may have already seen as it was a part of my design team application. I picked up this house in a second hand store for $10, bargain! I covered it with gesso before spraying it with various coloured mists and adding the embellishments and photos.

For my next project I wanted to create a calendar so that I could keep track of when my design team, work-related and other projects are due. I have had this piece of wood sitting amongst the books on my desk for over a year and it was just the perfect size for this! I have made the 'hook's out of nails which I have curled over but leaving enough room slip the calendar pages off and then at the end of the year, I can do a whole new set!

It's almost December wow!!!

I cannot believe it is almost the end of the year...wow ...Christmas is looming!!! I have been busy working on some projects for White With 1 ... did you see the FABULOUS entries for November check them out here! You still have until the 30th to get yours done for a chance to win! Here is my take on the November challenge which was White with Yellow and journalling directly onto your cardstock/paper.

Just a little something...

First Helmar project post...

I am working on about 99 things all at once here, well maybe not quite 99 but got a few deadlines happening...am planning on knocking a few over this weekend!!! But I am excited to say my first HELMAR post is up, you can check it out here... Thanks to the ladies who have left lovely comments, they are really appreciated!

Just a quick share...

I worked at the Penrith Papercrafts Festival for the past three days with Scrapware and Scraptivate, thanks to the ladies who came along and did my class and the make & takes, it was so much fun. Thanks to Ange and Nat for inviting me to help out! Those girls from Scraptivate (Nat, Jen and Marcy) are just amazing and inspiring mixed media artists!!! Both stands looked awesome!

Miss Jane was also there doing make & takes for the gorgeous Scrapapple girls and she was rocking it too! We had a lot of fun (and breakfast at McDonalds every morning LOL).

I am now catching up on all my projects for Helmar, Tattered Angels, my guest spot which is coming up for Darkroom Door and a few others which I can't share yet!

I have been asked to teach the class I did at the show at a few stores so stay tuned for more details!
