I am finally home from my whirlwind trip of the States! CHA was once again AMAZING, it was so wonderful to catch up with so many friends in the industry and meet a lot of new ones too! I have been so blessed and have some amazing opportunities coming my way for 'Your Creative Journey' and I will keep you all informed as they happen!
So of to CHA I went, along with Jane Clark, Tracey Shenton, Andrea Cosier and my 16yo daughter, we were all booked on the same flight and we all sat together, it was a lot of fun to say the least, I love these girls! We did the whole thing at CHA but we also did some other stuff together like shopping on Rodeo Drive!
We went to lunch at a cute cafe in Hollywood. We then headed off to Venice Beach but got lost and ended up (after a very long but lovely drive) at Santa Monica Pier, it was beautiful as always and right on sunset! The sun was bright hence the squinting LOL
Then it was back to LA, we made sure to drive down Sunset Boulevard.
Another night we headed back to Sunset Boulevard to have dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe!
After CHA Jane, my daughter and I went to Vegas, but more on that later!!!
As I mentioned earlier I have been blessed to have some amazing opportunites come my way...
Firstly I want to share with you that I have been invited with my new venture 'Your Creative Journey' to organize a PRIMA EDUCATOR ROAD SHOW for Australia and New Zealand in Oct/Nov 2011. This is going to be an amazing chance to do some awesome workshops with these talented ladies!!! If you think your local store might be interested in hosting a Prima Educator workshop, please ask them to email me at yourcreativejourney@live.com Please note this is ONLY open to either Bricks & Mortar Stores or a fully functional Online stores in the industry.
I have a really busy schedule coming up... Don't forget that Nathalie Kalbach will be here in NSW in APRIL doing her Tattered Angels workshops in stores, please email me for more info, you can check out her schedule here. I saw Nat in action at CHA, she is truly amazing! the classes are booking up so make sure you get your name on the list!
May is another busy month for me. May 5-7, I will be teaching the PRIMA workshops at Printblocks Creative Block retailer event, I will be working with Adam who is coming over from the States for the event! HAVE YOU SEEN the new stuff ... wow!!!
May 20-22 I am heading down to Melbourne (Geelong) to teach at UNMASKED a retreat organized by the gorgeous Melissa Kennedy, I am excited to be teaching at this event!!!
June 10 - 13, I am going back up to Brisbane to teach for Printblocks at the SCRAPBOOK EXPO on the long weekend, I will be teaching 3 classes per day over the 3 days, there will be 3 different classes and I really hope to see lots of you gorgeous girls there!
Your Creative Journey is planning on having the fabulous JEN STARR coming out to do workshops at the end of JUNE. Jen is Ranger, Prima, Tattered Angels and Copic certified and she will be teaching a couple of gorgeous projects! Stay tuned for more details!
July 21 - 24 is CAMP MOJO time!!! I cannot wait for our retreat in the Hunter Valley, we have so much planned for the attendees and amazing prizes from our SPONSORS! Check out facebook page here for more info!
And in between all that I have a lot of work to do as the new Technical Editor for Scrap N Art Magazine!!!
Phew I am going to be busy, just how I like it!!!
I would also like to say a very special thank you to those in the industry who have supported me through thick and thin, you know who you are and I really appreciate all you do for me.
